made her Carnegie Hall Recital debut in 1983 as winner of the Artists International Competition. She has appeared frequently in recital and as concerto soloist, including performances at the Aspen, Spoleto and Moab Music Festivals, Yale University, Lincoln Center and with the New York Symphonic Ensembles on many tours of Japan. A member of the Dorian Wind Quintet, Flute Force and Musicians Accord, Ms. Pusch has performed extensively with those groups. She has also collaborated in chamber music performances with Peter Schickele, Anthony Newman, Julius Baker, Paula Robison, Nexus, the Empire Brass and the Apple Hill Chamber Players. Ms. Pusch has performed with the American Symphony, Philharmonia Virtuosi, Riverside Symphony, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Guild and the New Jersey Symphony. She has been heard on radio and television, and on recordings for CRI, VAI, Newport Classic, Panasonic, Mode, Innova, and Windham Hill. She is on the faculties of the Juilliard School’s Music Advancement Program and Rutgers University. Ms. Pusch is a graduate of Boston University and studied with Julius Baker, James Pappoutsakis and Keith Underwood.
